The Broker-Dealer Social Media Disclosure Statement serves as an important part of a broker-dealer's overall supervision of Social Networking Websites and Business Communications used by its registered representatives.  The Social Media Disclosure Statement helps firms collect, organize and supervise the use of social media sites in accordance with FINRA Rule 2210 (Communications with the Public) as well as Regulatory Notices' 10-06, 11-39, 12-29, 15-17 and 17-18 regarding guidance on Social Networking Websites and Business Communications.
